Has anybody been tested for GROUP B STREPTOCOCCUS???

You can test positive at 37 weeks and not have it at birth and vice versa! Ask your doctor about it.

Everyone has the bacteria and it doesn't usually cause any issues in healthy adults. It only causes problems during delivery if it was passed to baby. Just a simple swab test its good for 4 weeks.

No, it will no affect your baby. Unless you were positive and did not get the antibiotics. I'm not sure if it does go away but I would assume so. There are many forms of the strep virus. Like strep throat... And with antibiotics and time, that goes away.

GroUp b strep is a bacterial infection that can be passed to baby. You get tested that way if it is positive, you can be given antibiotics when you go into labor.
