Special Things you did for your little ones first christmas...

I was just wondering if you ladies could offer some ideas... for Aubrees first christmas.. she'll be 6 months old.. and I wanted to do a couple special things considering its her first christmas and our first christmas as parents

connorethansmom- my husband still has his homemade stocking that his momma made him! While I did buy him a new one when we got married we still hang up his homemade one as part of our decor for the holidays. I'm sure your kids will cherish theirs as well!

I made stockings for both of my kids.  I hope they are something they cherish later.

I myself didn't do anything but my Mom got Noah his first ornament and my sister bought him his first Christmas outfit. The reason I didn't do these things is because I had just gotten home with him 2 days before Christmas and I didn't know his name or gender until he arrived.

kelly... we did that too.. we got our pics done at sears though... but same concept.. she has a little santa dress and hat the pics are in my profile if you care to look... we got her a babys first christmas outfit bib and ornament.

I bought Brayden a Santa outfit at target with the hat that says babys 1st christmas and we are going to get pics done at JC Penny of just him and he is going ot wear that at christmas with family...

Ooh, I do lots of things! Each year we get a new ornament for each child. I started making ornaments in my shop as well, to sell.

1). First Year Ornament
2). Start a Christmas Journal (nothing fancy, just a notebook and jot down what fun things you did, what you guys got, old/new traditions). This one is awesome because I look at the past years and it is so much fun to remember stuff!
3). Get her a special stocking (I love the ones at Big Lots!)
