I plan to talk to my ob about it at my appt next week.  For the last couple of months (i'm 15wks 4 days) I have been waking up with my hands or entire arm numb...even if I wasn't laying on it.  I've found that even normal positions make it worse...like if I lay on my right side and have my left arm laying down the length of my left side...it will start to ache and go numb.  It's really wierd, I've never had anything like that before.  I'll let you know what my ob says next week.

This could be nothing...but I would def get it checked out!! When I was pregnant with my 2nd baby in 2005 I had the same thing Numbness in my hands and feet...said something to my doctor and he blew me off. A week after I had my baby I cant walk or use my hands...went to the ER and finally after tons and tons of test got diagnosed with Guillan Barre!!! Not fun...I would def get it checked out just to be sure. Hope its nothing but better safe then sorry, right. Good luck everyone!!

I am 33 weeks and 4 days, and I've been experiencing this for awhile but mine happens during the day when I'm awake. My feet tend to fall asleep also, which is terrible when I'm sitting in class and I feel my feet burning pretty much. Best advice I have for you is just to move and change the way you're laying, you're heart is working over time to pump blood and sometimes things can get pinched off and cause numbing.

Hey Oneluv :)
This has happend to me once, but during the day not when I just wake up.  I have read that our hearts are working extra hard supporting another ciculatory system, so sometimes when the blood goes back to the heart it takes a while for the heart to pump it back throughout your veins again.  This can cause some numbness, but you should for sure mention it to your doc.  Hope you are doing well otherwise.  Yay for team blue :) xoxo
