Db keeps telling me he has a feeling his swimmers aren't working. Its one thing to say it but if its true! I'm laying here bawling at the thought of nvr having a child of my own! He says ill get over it or find a new man! I can't get over something like that! He has 2 of his own so he wldnt understand! The thought just kills me!

We'll get him test next month but for now I'm wondering if there's something he's not telling me!

And yea. He's fine with getting tested. Its just my hormones I'm sure. Lol

I'm sure that's it too. He was so sure I'd get pregnant this month. Now he's its pry the Mountain Dew. Lol.

Honey, men tend to think that if a woman doesn't get pregnant immediately it's obviously their "swimmers".  When DH and I first got together he said the same thing becuase he'd never gotten a woman pregnant.  Now after 10 1/2 years together, he's gotten me pregnant 7 times..  his swimmers are just fine.  Try to relax and wait and see what the test results are.

Is he in agreement to getting his sperm checked? I think if he had gotten a vasectomy after his last kids and isnt being honest with you he would probably be nervous about getting them checked at a fertility clinic and would make up excuses...i  would assume they would be able to tell if he had a vasectomy or not. I would really hope he wouldnt hide something like that from you but i suppose it is a possibility. I  would just ask him if he's willing to get checked out and see what happens...or just straight up ask him if he's hiding something from you. It's most likely just your TTC hormones getting the best of you :) but i think some good old fashioned communication might help to settle your stomach. I agree with the other ladies about it not being likely about him being infertile when he already has two children. I really hope the best for you and that you get a BFP really soon so u wont even have to worry about this anymore!

I mentioned to the docs about gettin DF checked out she said all he has to do is bring in a sample to a special clinic he doesnt have to do it in an office but as soon as u have the sample u have to bring it in and keep it warm (put it under ur armpits) thats what i was told.

I just went on and it works fine, Yea tey have male fertility checks when u mix sperm with this liquid and if it turns blue he is fine..

My DH had a semen analysis and I picked up a collection cup. We collected it at home and brought it in within 45min. Had to keep it warm. It was so awkward!!!

I'm getting him test when his insurance comes thru next month if I'm not pregnant.

But I dont think you can become infertile like that, surely if he has had 2 kids, his swimmers should still be swimming.
Can he get them tested???

My DF is saying the same thing, i said well go get tested and he says if u arnt fallin pregnant cause of me ill neck myself,  So im a bit worried about getn him tested.

There is tests u can buy online to check male fertility some one posted the website on here a while ago. ill see if i can find it.

How long have you been trying? What methods are you using to determine ovulation?

It is actually very rare for a man to be sterile. While women are only fertile about 24-48 hours of a month (when she ovulates) a man is almost always fertile (his sperm are at the ready). I think the only thing that would make sense is if he developed a condition that has mutated his sperm and a simple test at a fertility clinic would be able to determine how healthy and viable his sperm are.

Don't give up hope! If he already has kids chances are good that he isn't infertile.
