pain killers

5 w pgnt and first time. Was on pill for around 14 years due to bad period cramps. Came off it 3mths ago as myself and husband for less than a mth both would like children. I'm getting really bad cramps, just like my old period pains which can be cripalling at times! I understand that this is normal at this stage, however I was wondering if its ok to take painkillers. I will bring this up with my doc bit my appt is not until the 4th Jan. Anyone know if this can cos a problem as at times I cannot move and it gets unbearable which OS difficult to conceal at work?

Also if the pain is THAT bad, I would possibly ask to have your appointment moved up sooner...if you are pregnant you should not be having crippling pain.

Tylenol is usually ok, but I'd call my doctor and ask over the phone rather than wait or chance taking something unsafe!
