pregnancy after mirena?

i had my mirena removed on wednesday. me and my huband has unprotected sex tuesday (mirena was still in). i still have my period every month and according to when my last period was i am supposed to ovulate th 26-1. i am worried that since i was ovulating while mirena removal that i may have gotten pregnant since sperm can live inside you for 72 hours. is there a chance i ould may be pregnant?

There is a chance however, unlikely. I had a Dr's appointment this morning so I asked for you. She said that there's something like a %3 chance of that occurence.

Like snagglepuss said, wait 2 weeks and take a test! Good luck to you.

Yes. I had the mirena taken out cause we wanted another baby soon but we were gonna wait a couple months. But now my boobs are really sore and I'm just scared that I might be pregnant.

i had the mirena and had unprotected sex for5  months and didnt get pregnant but it is very possible i had a friend who got pregnant 3 mon. the doctr just tells you to wait a couple months so there is lower risk in misscarriage..

have you had the mirena out to try and conceive? it is possible you could be pregnant as fertility is meant to resume as soon as the mirena is taken out.
all you can do for now is wait 2 weeks since intercourse and then take a test.
