When to start trying after a miscarriage

I had a very early term miscarriage last week. The kind where if we weren't trying I would have just thought it was late period (my period came on day 36). The period itself was fine, nothing unusua, painful, and it wasn't much heavier than my usual. My husband and I want to continue trying. Is it safe to try during this next ovulation cycle? Thanks!

Hi!
Yes, its OK to go ahead.  We don't recommend waiting to try unless you have had a surgical procedure like a D&C.  Keep taking your vitamins!  I always like to look at those chemical pregnancies as a system test.  It sounds like your system is working, and it bodes well for the future!
Good luck!

I was 5 weeks pregnant when I had my M/C. It took me 8 weeks to get my period. I have been ttc the last 2 month's. So far no luck. I have started taking pre-natal pills because they help get your body ready. As long as you waited at least 1 cycle you are good to go. My doctor told me that there is absolutly no reason to half to waite 3 months even 1. A M/C just happens and it has nothing to with anything you did. They tell you to waite just to be on the safe side. I have heard of many women gettin pregnant right after a M/C with out getting there menstral. It is possible. Maybe go and get a 2nd opion about what another doctor sais about waiting. Well good luck

I had a medical miscarriage to end a blighted ovum 3 weeks ago.
And my doctor told me to wait 2 cycles. She did not say why I should wait.
I used misoprostol. Do you think that is why?
