there is no proof that any amount of alcohol is safe for your baby, but its a personal choice if you risk your babies health or not. have a talk with your doc and see what the risks are x

@Bev, when you drink a lot thAt is a risk, a glass once a week wont hurt the baby, is actually good for their heart. Ask your OB about it.

The drs will tell you NO ALCOHAL because of Fetal alcohol syndrome is growth, mental, and physical problems that may occur in a baby when a mother drinks alcohol during pregnancy.

My doc said 3oz (less than half a glass) once a week is good. I don't do it, but my doc is ok with it.

It really depends on where you are. Only in the US do drs really tell you to completely abstain from alcohol. Elsewhere they say a glass a week is acceptable once you are in the latter part of your pregnancy.

But I heard it's not good. So, don't try it if you're scared of any risk.

No. Where I am the drs say the research is mixed so its just best not to and all alcohol packaging says the safest option is to not consume any alcohol while pregnant so I don't.
