I was taking my prenatals first thing in the morning with my daily bowl of cereal and found that they were making my morning sickness worse, so I just ended up taking them at night with a small meal right before I went to bed and it helped sooooo much. While I still have some nausea from time to time, it's nothing like before. Also, you can take 2 flinstone chewables a day to make up for the prenatal. Good luck.
they now make chewable prenatal vitamins...i read it on a pregnancy website...ask your doctor about them.
Thanks i think i will try the flinstones vitamins does it matter which ones i get chewables or gummie?
Thanks LAdies... my dr told me to keep taking them because i was actually vomiting but i think the nausteous feeling is worse than vomiting... im just worried about my phantom morning sickness is a sign that something is wrong... im a worry wort and will be until i have these babies :o)
Talk with your doc about switching vitamins. They can make you feel a little ill. It is very important to take them so he may have another suggestion.
My doctor actually advised me to stop taking my prenatals when I had morning sickness during my pregnancy since it can actually make it worse. Ask your doctor if you can take flintstone vitamins... that is what my doctor had me to twice a day until my morning sickness was gone and then I was able to take my prenatals again.
you can get folic acid from just about any veggie that is green. lettuce is good, cabbage, asparus is really good or even get some cereal that has a lot of folic acid in it. not pregn. i hope i am but not yet.work at a clinic so i asked what can i do and those were the suggest the natural way. try gingerr-ale or toast and even cracker to keep morning sicjkness under control
