I know it is a hard long wait but u must not force it. He or she nay not be fully developed and may need those few extra weeks.
Thank you all so much for your ideas!
Castor oil, when close to your due date, doesn't harm the baby. There is no proof that it causes meconium either. Lots of doctors give the okay to use it towards the end. Lol funny how so many say its sooo bad. Lol
Also, walking is good.. as well as bouncing on an exercise ball. I bounced/rolled for two hours Friday night, one hour Saturday night, then my water broke early Sunday morning. I walked a lot during those days as well.
Sex is one way to induce labor ... an orgasm can make your uterus contract and the sperm can help too. I forgot how they explained it to me but I was told it works! I know this because when I was pregnant before they told me to avoid sex because it could help me go into labor! I was supposed to be trying not to go into labor.
Good luck! I wish you the best!
My doctor was super understanding that I wanted to be induced on July 11 which was my great grandmas b-day. But I was also going to be exactly 41 weeks that day. So he scheduled the induction. My water broke at 10:45 pm on the 10th. I had my son on my own on the 11th. You can't rush your little one. They will come when they are ready to greet you.
Stop having sex until the 17th do it. Then do like 20 squats.
Dont drink Castro oil. It can cause ur baby to breathe in its poop and that's very very bad, try walking A LOT, sex, orgasms, nipple stimulation. Are all things I heard that help.
Both my kids were overdue, I tried everything with my first but just ended up frustrated. Let things happen on their own, youre more likely to have an easier labour when baby is ready as s/he will be in the right position. I dont know of anyone who has had any real success with trying to set off labour early...
Castor oil can have really bad consequences for the baby.
Drink castrol oil is what I've heard but I'm not sure I've never done it, a drink of mine did and it made her puke n have diarrhea
There's nothing you can do sorry lol
