does this sound like im preg?

i kno this gets posted a lot but im gonna list my symptoms and ask anyway

LMP 4/18/2010 (never been more than a week late and that was caused by massive stress)
mass tiredness, slightly irritated boobs, headaches, occational nausea but that recently stopped, no period of course, bad back aches, have to pee a lot, some food cravings but then again that might just be me, sore lower tummy verry sensitive, also my tummy is bigger but only the very lower part and not a whole lot but i notice. (i think thats everything)....... i took 2 preg test but the first one didnt realy work, they both were neg. i took them at about 3pm (didnt kno i was supose to do it in the morning). i'd take another but where i live now i cant get to a store easily and i dont hav a car at the moment.

i had sex 4/30/2010 it was unprotected but only cause he's been to a doctor and they said there is no way he can ever have kids. but from my experience a lot of doctors dont know half of what they think they do. i

i've also had one child befor if that makes a differance, but i dont remember much of it.

any imput?

k so i didnt have the instructions for the cvs test, i'd thought it worked the same as any other, you know either a plus or minus. i was wrong. i just found out that you either get 1 line in each box for positive or one line in the second box for negative. so my tests were negative. now all i need to do is freak out over whats wrong with me.

thank you soooo much everyone. i realy appreciate the support, i needed it right now, i just have so much going on and then this. ill post back if it turns out by some crazy fate that all the tests were wrong.

The symptoms and the timing are right, if your LMP was on the 18, then you were ovulating the 28th through the 8th. Babys happen, regardless of doctors' diagnoses.
If you still haven't had your period and you don't have a history of gynecological problems, there's a good chance you are pregnant.
Take care of yourself and eat right until you take the next test. I like clearblue the best. Oh and take folic acid just in case or eat cereal (best, cheapest source of folate).

Good luck, try not to stress out!

ok dont ever buy CVS pharmacy brand tests! both came out comepletly blank! no negative or positive signs. the indicator box for if it worked showed a blue line but nothing in the answer box. im broke, i could have bought one of the good brand but in the past a lot of people said the cheap ones work just as good or better so i bought two of those. anyway, thank you everyone for your help, i guess now im stuck just waiting.

a friend of mine was told at the age of 10 he could never get a woman pregnant, after years of unprotected sex he is now a father to a 3 month old baby boy at the age of 38 so doctors aren't always correct.

Do not go on pregnancy symptoms alone, i did this for 3 years and i'm still doing it and have never been pregnant.  I've now been told my best chance of conceiving is IVF due to some problems i have.  The only way to know is to test after you miss AF by at least a week to 2 weeks.  I wish you the best of luck

i tested at least once and it was negative and i think i might have tested twice..both negative.
idk how late you are and frankly im terrible at math but i didn't get a positive result until i was 13 days late for my period.
i agree with joy and also i think that you should retest one more time (couldn't hurt) if you are still late in say a week?
its not uncommon for a women to miss a period for no apparent reason...if you dont ovulate you won't have a period and sometimes we just don't ovulate one time.
i'd say it happening once is probably not a problem (im not a doctor so someone can correct me if im wrong) but more than that i suggest mentioning it to your gynecologist. :)

Oh wow, you're right. I was mistaking today for 5/9. If you are 40 days late and still getting negative results it could be that you ovulated later than you suspected or something else can be causing your period to be late. If you don't have a period by day 52 you may want to call your doctor.

First I love your username!

Second, you definitely could have had sex near ovulation time. Sperm can live 5-7 days in the vagina so if you ovulated at that time or shortly after I would say there is a really good chance. A fertile woman has a 25% chance of conceiving every cycle.

If you had sex on 4/30 you need to wait 2-3 weeks to take a pregnancy test. It has only been 9-10 days since you had sex. I would take a First Response test in about 5 days.
