could I be pregnant?

Hi there! I've never been here before, but have a question I need help with. I have been on BC pills for about 11years and am pretty good at taking them. This past month I completely missed one pill (dropped it and could not find it) but this has happened before so I did not worry. My period arrived as usual on CD 29 and lasted three days with very light, brownish bleeding. Today makes day 33 and I was up all night with extreme nausea and am having nausea again this afternoon. My breasts/nipples have also been sore. I'm also strangely moody today (crying for no reason). I can not think of anything that would have caused my nausea and am wondering if I could be pregnant due to the one missed pill? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I'm fighting with BF, I know because I'm not sure if I'm pregnant or not. I'm irritable My doctor gave me the papers for blood work but Im scared to find out the results. He told me to wait and see what my period was going to do. it came and went but wasn't normal. Not at all heavy like normal no clots. I'm sick now I have the flu or something like that. I get up in the morning and feel nauseated and light heated, Don't know if it's because I'm sick or if it's pregnancy symptoms. Am I making myself sick or could I really be pregnant? I feel like I am...like I just feel it. I'm only 3 weeks if that. I don't know I'm just frustrated and confused. Don't know what to do. I told my mom and she doesn't seem worried. i'm old enough but that doesn't make it less confusing or worrisome. I have my own place and a secure job. I'm not married though which I thought I would be but I know many people are single mothers and make it work. I just need to build up the courage to get the test but I'm almost positive what the results will be, then what?

i dont no if i am pregnant  , i am 18.  i took a ept test on july  and came out positive but i go to the doctors  when i found out , they said my test came back saying i was not . a week after i was bleeding very light  but for 2 weeks and the i went to the hosiptal and then they said it was nothing and then i started to bleed again. a week ago i went to a different doc and she says maybe i had a m/c  ,but that i was not pregrnant . i dont no what to do my period still havent came and i gain 20 pounds  since july

Has anyone had any twinges or slight pains in their legs. Is that a sign of pregnancy? Gven everything else that's going on with me?

That's almost exactly what's going on with me. I had 7 days of spotting then I started what I thought was my normal period.Less cramps, no clotting.  It changed from spotting to more period like Wed., Thurs. I was like "Ohh yeah...this is my period." Now today it's going away. I usually have terrible cramps. Nothing like this. This is a breeze. It picked up on Wed. night so it's kind of like I'm finishing my 2nd full day, which is never this light. If it's gone tomorrow. I am going to re- test. According to my calender today would only make me two weeks as the last time I had unprotected sex was Sept. 28th. then I started spotting 6 days later, followed  by the above mentioned. It's just weird because I tested wed. and it was negative. Probably to early.  I guess I'll have to get a blood test since it still probably show up in a HPT. I don't know what it is but by body is out of wack for some reason. No pregnancy sypmtoms really except I'm extremely tired and a little nausea but that's it. No pain in my breast either. Good luck! let us know what happens...I'll do the same.

If you were able to resume your pills in a timely fashion it is unlikely to become pregnant after missing one pill only, but there always is that possibility.  Also, you describe symptoms common to pregnancy.  Take a home pregnancy test.  If negative, repeat in one week and if still negative but your symptoms persist go see your ob/gyn.  If positive, go see you ob/gyn.

It could be either way. Sometimes we just have a weird period, sometimes it is pregnancy, sometimes its something else.  I would test just to be sure, its really the only surefire way to tell.  Let us know how it goes.

i was almost 2 weeks late, i figured from increased exercise. i have been having unprotected sex. Then i had a light period for about 2 weeks, with only like 2 days of what i would call a normal period. Now i have experiencing nausea all the time, light-headness, and i am constantly tired no matter how much sleep i get. My breasts are gettin fuller but there isnt any pain or soreness. Could i possibly be pregnant or is it something else?

Yeah...my period isn't due until Friday or Sat.. I think I will take another test on the 14th just to be sure. Thanks for the advice. i am going to watch and see how my period acts next month if i'm not pregnant because there may be something else going on.

yeah my periods are always on time like clocke work and they last the same length of time except the first period in sept. 01, 2007 and the last period sept. 29, 2007. i am going to go to the drugstore to take a test and then the doctor.

It does sound a little implantation bleeding, just based on the timing and description.  But the cramping is iffy.  Its common in early pregnancy, but could be period related.  I had implantation bleeding in my first pregnancy, but it was very obviously different than my period, there were no cramps, it only lasted three days, and it was really light.  I then had intermittent spotting for the first couple months.  This pregnancy, no implantation bleeding.  Every woman is different though.  As far as early miscarriage, typically if you are miscarrying really early on, it will seem like a heavier than normal period, which doesn't sound like the case with you.  Some women do have their periods their entire pregnancy.  I know your period is like clock work, but now and then even those of us who are super regular have off months.  Are you actually not due for your period until the 13th?  If so, even though it will be a grueling wait, I would wait until the 14th to test again.  Good luck and let us what you find out.

I started spotting 10 days before my period was supposed to start, 5 days after having un protected sex w/ BF. Now after 7 days of on off spotting My period seems to be starting. Could I be pregnant or starting having aa miscarriage? Ive had on off spotting and cramping. Now I'm treating it like anormal period since its 2 days since I'm supposed to start. Its not as heavy as my normal period usually is, but it seems like a period. I'm still concerned i may be pregers but I tok a test 2 day ago. probably to soon to tell as I would only be two weeks. Not sure what's going on but My period is like closk work. So I'm not sure what's going on. I'm having some period like bleeding but I've heard some woman have a light period the 1st month or two. Has anybody had any similar symptoms?

I can't believe that they wouldn't let you take a blood test.  That is so ridiculous!  Can you try at an actual doctor's office?  I really don't think they can refuse you what you are asking especially if you have insurance.  I am not sure because your periods were so unusual.  Like I say a blood test would be so helpful here to let us know what your quant is.  When was your last period before September and are you usually regular?

i am a planned parenthood patient and they refused to give me a blood test. even though i told they women i have bluecross blue shield insurance. she stated the test was expwensive. but i told her that what i wanted. she said they do urine test first then if a line shows up then they wiould give blood.

well i had two periods in sept the first was only two days and it was very light and no cramping. sept 01-until sept 02.
then my next period was sept.29-until oct03. i hope im pregnant having been trying and trying. took four test within a week and bfn. have had befor during and afte ovulation. i think i would be about 2- four weeks and have been getiing headaches, frequent urination, and stomcah cramps lately after my period.

Try going to planned parenthood for a blood test.  They should not be refusing you.  Even if you are not pregnant, the fact that you have not had a period for two months should be reason for any doctor to want to find the cause.  Don't let them push you around.  Request your blood test, if it is positive, find a different doctor for sure.  If it is negative, I would try to find out what is causing this.  Good luck!

Can you clarify a little?  You had spotting the day your period should have started, then had very periodish bleeding, then had more spotting?  I don't know that it necessarily sounds like implantation bleeding because of the clotting and heavyness, but how late (if you were pregnant) do you think you are?

i am going to the bathroom like crazy now i am going like every 45 minutes. i am queasy, and been haveing a mauve colored spotting have never been pregnant before the spotting started the day i was supposed to get my cycle. no cycle that day but the very next day i had sex with my boyfriend and then right afterwards my cycle came down. i lasted for 4 days very bad cramps and clotting, then after my cycle was finished  two days later i noticed spotting that comes every two days so far had my cycle on 9-29- until 10-02. am spotting not heavy enough for a pantyliner or pad. what could this be?

Could I be pregnant if I always nausea, feeling tired, and moody all the time? My breast are getting heavier and tenderness everyday. They getting sore and bigger. My nipples are expecially are sentive. Why is this this happening to me? I can't even hardly fit my bra anymore. I always been a 32 a. Now I could fit a 32 b cup. Last time i had sex was aug 25, 2007.(unprocted) But all my test are showing negative, even at the doctors. They won't give me a blood test yet. They think I'm about to start my period.
