really safe and successful method for self induction

If you are 39+ or are getting induced and don't want the meds I just read on another forum about a really safe, successful way to self induce.... Ladies I read on another forum that a girl was supposed to get induced but she didn't want the meds so tried another way which was u take 2 cups of coffee grounds and put them in a bowl in which u place in the toilet then u boil a half of pot of water and pour it in the coffee grounds and sit on the toilet for a half hour and  it dilates you and causes some ppl water to break!! If any of u try it let me know

Try it ,  it may work better since ur already dialated

i want to try this because i need to dilate im only 1-2 but fully effaced. x

It should be regular coffee because u the caffeine mixed steam is said to dilate you and I never heard of it until I went on another pregnancy forum and MAJORITY OF THE LADIES THAT TRIED IT SAID IT WORKED!! But a lot of them took a long walk after and their water broke shortly after!!

May sound silly but did it specify decaf or regular coffee grounds?

38 today and have been on bed rest for pre-eclampsia since 27 weeks. They plan on inducing me this weekend. I may just have to try this one. Seems safe, nothing internal. I will let you know if I try it and please keep me posted!

Oooh, dont tempt me with more old wives tales!!! I've been at them all the last 2wks! (I'll probably try it though- will let you know!)
