My last day at work is March 27th and I'm due the 29th. I am a cook at a nursing home and work 40 hrs a week, 8 hour shifts on my feet the whole time and very fast paced. It is getting rough and I am hoping baby decides to come a little early!

I was going to work till monday of this week but last thursday i hit a wall. I thought I was in labor, it became extremely hard to move because of swelling. I was 38+1 and now 39+1. Im a dog groomer so picking up and putting down dogs, onb your feet eight hours and sitting for a half IF lucky. Mu swelling has gone down a lot and bp as well.

I will start my leave 1 1/2 weeks before I'm due. I work in home medical with kids, it's getting hard though since I can't even put my own shoes on anymore.

I started my maternity leave the day before I was due. The last 2 weeks were so hard I started to regret not taking it sooner. I'm an assistant manager at McDonald's and because I'm salaried I have to work at least 45 hrs a week. I just didn't want to take mine too early because I only get 8 weeks paid and 4 weeks unpaid so I wanted to have as much time off after the baby as possible. But I made it through work and now I'm 3 days past my due date and being induced in the morning.

I started my Maternity leave at 25 weeks only cause my job required me lifting for 25-30lbs and my manager didnt care i was pregnant and also i had 4 deaths on the family from i was 26 weeks to 28 weeks so my doctor wrote a note for maternity leave till i was 6 weeks post partom but i quit at 4 weeks post partom cause my manager thought i was healed enough to go back to work (i was just wanted the other two weeks off) and when i started he wanted me to go to Edmonton Alberta and work there for 5 months and they were only getting a hotel for me and i couldn't take my kids
