worried

I'm 37+5 weeks pregnant and 18 years old. I'm really worried about my delivery as I have a blood problem so am not aloud any other pain relief other than gas and air. Has anyone else had just gas and air and had a good delivery? Any replies greatly appreciated xx

First time baby I had an epidural and really struggled to get my little boy out and had to stop in for a week after cause it went wrong. So the second time I had nothing other than gas and air and a birthing pool, I really enjoyed it, two pushes and my little boy was out. I strongly recommend it. Im even looking forward to labour this time cause I was so relaxed the last time. Definitely wouldn't have the epidural again.

Both my deliveries were natural-my last I used a birthing pool-this was AMAZING & I would recommend to anyone!!!
I think its generally better for baby to go without pethidine/epi-baby is generally more alert after birth.

Honestly, birth is the single most natural, amazing experience you are every likely to experience-yes its painful but you soon forget the pain & think what you get from it!!

Lots of luck & before you know it you'll have your beautiful baby in your arms :)
