Are there any specific diet recommendations for Kennedy Disease? I have a few other genetic conditions too. Only other relevant one might be CAIS and Chimerism making me intersex.(I am XY but some tissue is XX from an absorbed twin) I had MTF surgery more than 30 years ago. But I suffered TBI, memory loss and abusive people for decades losing my original info. Though of course I still turn the Kennedy disease test positive and their are signs in tests of some of what I've been through.
I currently take glucosamine, omega 3, D3, calcium, magnesium, kelp, multi vitamin, metabolic booster(herbal with cider vinegar, iodine, and something else), vitamin e, and I also take several medications. Nambutone, Naproxen(as needed usually for sleep pain), gabapentin(300mg night and 100mg day), serequel 200mg for sleep, tecta(with magnesium), and crestor 20mg.
I eat a diet with rice more than potatoes, some fresh or steamed veggies, mostly chicken(but sometimes pork or ground beef dishes), noodles, I eat apples/banana/oranges sometimes(I know maybe I should eat a little more than I do), and I eat yogurt. I have granola, raisin bran, or oatmeal/red river cereal for breakfast and eat sour dough or rye bread. I don't eat a lot of cheese(grilled cheese occasionally though or pizza). Sometimes I cook with ginger or garlic. I also drink decaf tea or chai tea and sometimes coconut milk. I use olive margarine, safflower or sesame oils.
I recently had a scan for an ovarian cyst which now shows clear. I also have had a colon-scope where they took out three polyps and within the last month since the procedure I've lost 8-10 lbs.
Is any of that diet items particularly good or bad for Kennedy Disease?
