Numb fingers

Two days ago my right hand suddenly went numb.  Mainly affects are my 2 smaller fingers.  Not completely paralyzed, I can move my fingers, but they don't "go where I tell them"; I can flex them, but can't completely straighten them. Since my thumb and index finger are not affected, I can write fine.
My questions are -
1) Since I have no idea about this problem, is there a cure for this?
2) I am extremely busy for another 3 months as I am a full time employee and student, will I be ok if see  doctor after 3 months or the condition could get worse?

Any suggestion you can provide about the problem I am going through will be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for responding. After stretching my fingers and hand for few times a day for couple of months my fingers are back to 95% normal and I have regained all my strength. I didn't see a professional but did stretch my hand regularly and started to see benefits within a week and now almost back to normal.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
What other symptoms are present? Numbness usually suggests nerve involvement or neurological issues. It is important that the underlying cause is identified to determine which treatment is available. It is difficult to say if it worsens over the next months especially if there is no direct clinical evaluation done.Take care and do keep us posted.
