Hi,
Thank you for your update. I understand how this could affect you in so many ways. Aside from surgery, management may include patching or correction of refractive errors. However, you really need to have this evaluated by your eye doctor or ophthalmologist for proper management. The treatment will depend on the evaluation by your doctor. To find a good ophthalmologist in your locality, you could ask for a referral from your attending physician. Take care always.

Hi,
How are you? Vertical strabismus such as hypotropia is misalignment of the eyes where the visual axis or focus is lower than normal. You may need to have this evaluated by your doctor or be referred to an ophthalmologist for proper management. Treatment depends on the underlying cause. Patching, correction of refractive errors and even surgical correction may be indicated.
Take care and do keep us posted.
