I overcame EBV virus (14 years old) and pneumoniae chlamydia (15 and 19 years old). After 19 years old (3 month from treatament pneumoniae chlamydia) I becoming have a many problems with my health. I was in hospital, with suspected of acute pancreatidis, but this diagnose wasn´t suspected. They make Elisa test and biopsy for celiac sprue, for the first time was confirmed, but then was suspected. I don´t drink milk and alcohol and I don´t eat garlic, because I have abdominal pain  nausea and  neurological problems. On 2009,  for the first time doctors diagnosed me night epilepsy but then they diagnosed migraine. I intolerate medicaton like Topiramate, Lamotrigin, Valproate  chrono, antibotics and anticonception, I have lot of bad reactions when taking this medicines . Actually I have high level of Ige 1643 and Eosinophil 7,2  and high Anti Ebv EBNA IgG Elisa 69,00, in  immunology diagnosed me Hyper Ige syndrome recessive, Atopy and Alergy, but I haven´ť got problems with my immunity,  for last 5 years I wasn´t be sick. Do you thing that is a Hyper Ige syndrome? Can Hyper Ige syndrome make me neurological problems and problems with stomach? I am very sorry for my elementary English, I can´t speak English very well, but I must wrote this, because I am very upset, because my doctors told me that with Hyper Ige syndrome I can not work in Hospice, because is big risk for me. Please help me.

thank you som much for answer. Please tell me, is there otrher restrictions for me? because in my country, this diagnosis is very rare and doctors told me very little about this diagnosis. If I havent got any infection it will be everything  right with my health? Are there some other complications with the health when I have Hyper Ige syndrome? If I have problems,  there will be any possible treatment for me? Have a nice day,

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
High Anti Ebv EBNA IgG is seen in the early course of EBV infection with peak at 3-4 weeks. High levels are also found in patients with immunodeficiency diseases, recurrent parotid gland infection (parotitis), multiple sclerosis, pregnancy and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. So, positive IgG means you had a past infection. If IgM is also positive, it means you are currently having EBV infection. If IgM is negative and IgG is high and you have eczema or lung infection or cold, then yes, it can be due to Hyper IgE syndrome. However, if you have IgE syndrome then you will have a very high IgE level along with a high eosinophil count. In your case all three are high, which I am sorry to say, but goes more in favor of Hyper IgE Syndrome. And, yes, if you have this syndrome, you are very susceptible to infection and should not work at a hospice. Take care!
