Hi,
How are you? About 2 in 3 adults have depression at some time in their life and women tend to develop depression more often than men. One factor is a chemical imbalance in the brain and may also be seen after giving birth or menopause. The good thing about this is it responds to medications/ antidepressant, counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and interpersonal and dynamic therapies. A self-help group in your locality or from the Internet may help. It may be enough to talk things over with a relative or friend. Get some regular exercise, eat well, relax, and do your favorite activities. Take care and do keep us posted.
thank this really helps :D
Hi,
I'm glad to help. If conservative measures mentioned above do not work, evaluation by your doctor and medications may then be indicated. Stay healthy and positive. Take care always.
