I would probably say my mom. What a wonderful woman she was. She's been gone 19 years this month and I still miss her every day. She shaped me in many ways. When she was living, she taught me so much. Through her death, I also became much wiser.
I do also have such great fondness for my children that it is hard to not think of them both being very influential in my life.
My first 'true love' boyfriend was so important in my life. I was 16 and he was 19 when we met, and we were together for nearly 4 years. He was so talented, and so nice! He introduced me to books and music and other wonders I wouldn't have come across on my own for years. He was an artist and an architecture student, later an architect.
For various reasons it never would have worked out over the long haul, and ultimately I did the break-up thing, not that I wasn't heartbroken too, but I knew it was for the best.
A few years back I used Google to find out what had happened to him. To my great sorrow, I found he had died not so long before that. I don't know whether he had a happy or successful life, though of course I hope he did. I could find out without much trouble, but I prefer to think of him as the wonderful guy who just wasn't the one for me.
My children! Hands down! My little guys teach me something new everyday and have taught me TRUE LOVE, COMPASSION, EMPATHY, how to be a SHORT ORDER COOK, NURSE, COUNSELOR, EDUCATOR, TAXI DRIVER, and SO MUCH MORE! Because of my children I am more than I ever thought I could be! They are my inspiration and without them, life wouldn't be worth living!
I learned the window washing trade from Randy. I met him one afternoon watching the sunset in Newport Beach. I'd just sold a house & had a $25,000
cashiers check in hand. I also had a waterski in my MBZ two seater.
I didn't drink in those days. I'd been 12 years with no drinking. We returned to the bar restaurant, & met someone there going to school for the week.
Randy bet us & we didn't believe he had a boat in his driveway & would take us waterskiing in the ocean the following day. It was January.
I drove, & we all piled into my two seater with the ski & everything. This turned out to be the start of a crazy two year time, before I was married.
Randy, was in the top three best lovers of my life. Maybe we met just at a moment in time that was vibrationally perfect. The lovemaking was excellent.
If I ever find I need some money, a squeegee, & chamois & bucket & I'm in there! Pamela
