Confused about sexual attraction

Can you have no sexual attraction to someone and still get excited by them within five minutes with minimal touch?  I have an ex who swears he's been using me for sex.  We started seeing a girl who ended up being more attracted to him, and he swore he was exceedingly attracted to her, but couldn't keep it up for her, but I was able to in 5 minutes, barely doing anything.  Is he deluding himself, or is it actually possible?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.  I'd really like to see this guy again when this relationship ends, because everyone I know knows it will.  I think I scared him off by us becoming too comfortable with each other and forgetting to communicate authentically.

I think youre eluding yourself.  Maybe he cant really come up with a clear reason as to why he wants the other girl or maybe he just doesnt feel comfortable sharing it with you.  She may be more of his type physically or have the personality he loves.  It could be countless things!  I just hope you can take a hint when a man tells you he's been using you for sex or when he moves on and move on yourself.  I hope you arent now letting him use you for a side gig either.    Oh yeah, and unless youre a prostitute or something, you shouldnt be trying to compete with your sexual skills

Yes.  A man can get excited during a physical exam with an army doctor.  They've very physical.

If it takes him 5 minutes to get it up,  he's slow.
