when was the last time:

When was the last time you had an argument with your significant other?

When was the last time you said I love you to them?

So, let me think think think when an actual argument last happened.  We have mini heated exchanges more frequently than arguments.  My husband switched from working in an office to working out of the home.  And wow, that means I see him a LOT.  LOL>  and the last heated exchange . . .   well, I give just about everything to my family.  I eat last and take the little piece of chicken (don't worry, I'm not skinny because of this, ha ha) and then end up cutting half of that up for one of my kids who ate all of theirs.  I am often last.  Except for my juice.  ha, there this green juice that only comes in a small bottle and is expensive and I have it at night.  Like, my thing.  I don't buy it all the time but when I do----  LOVE IT and IT'S mine.  Except, my husband likes it. So, I put it in the back of the frig.  And yesterday, he found it!  And I watched as he poured 3/4 of the bottle into a big glass for himself leaving one tiny sip for me.  Because I was watching and not looking happy, he said "what?" in a tone that said I shouldn't have a problem with this.  And I launched --  MY JUICE, MY JUICE, MY JUICE.  LOL  I should be embarrassed to admit this petty and silly moment.  But it happened.

And the I love you came when I saw him pour it back in the bottle and he said sorry about 5 minutes later.  :>)  Marital bliss at its finest.

I dont know about the mature thing!!!  We both act "juvenile" most of the time!!  Back in the day i would try and pick a fight with him and he would just look at me and say i know what you are doing so you will have to argue with yourself!! lol  When he got sick with Lyme our relationship really changed as i was the one who had to do everything as he was so sick.  He was basically bedridden.  Had we not had the relationship we did it could of been the end of us.  Illness really puts a strain on both parties.  He still has bad days but we get thru them together.  You know my history so with that and his Lyme we have formed a very solid union and are grateful for every day.
Well, that is REALLY a lovely story.  I think the kind of bond people form after having gone through difficult things can be the strongest of all.  Lyme is a witch!  I'm glad you have been there to help him and I'm sure he is a constant source of support for you during the daily struggles of life!  Everyone should be so lucky to find that kind of love!  So, I'm happy for you!
He isnt afraid to call me out on my bs either!!  How dare him figure me out!!  lol

I dont remember the last time we had an argument.  We dont usually let things get to that point.  Life is too short to argue.  We have both learned to pick our battles.  Last time i told him i loved him?  2 hrs ago!
