Ladies, What is the BEST thing yur husband did for you?
He gave me two wonderful kids.
And whenever he gives me a foot massage or back massage I'm in hogs heaven. Nothing is as relaxing and comforting to me as these massages are.

thats sad i can not even think of something other than him taken care of me while i was pregant and on bedrest for 20wks he waited on me hand and feet.

My husband (before we were married) had just moved to Texas from California(where I lived and fell in love with him). We were miserable without each other. He wanted me to move to Texas with him sooo bad. I had lived in Cali all my life, all my friends and family were there, and I had a great job.
I could not afford to move at that point and was afraid to leave my "comfort zone".
I wanted to be with him but was afraid. He did not really have much money back then and just moved so he hadn't found a job yet (he was 19)
The day he found a job he called me and told me that he had a job and to please come, he would take care of me. He had to start work in 8 days.
I told him I could not afford to buy a plane ticket... and besides how would I get my stuff to Texas?
To make a long story short.. he drove his motorcycle 2500 miles from Houston to Sacramento to get me. His motorcycle was his pride and joy, he loved that bike. If you have never made that drive. it is quite a long trip. It takes baout 36 hours straight (3 days straight)
It was the end of August and very hot. He drove all the way across Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California to come get me.
When he got there he sold his motorcycle to get gas money so we could drive my car back to Texas. So we loaded up all the stuff I could fit in the back of my little sports car and drove to Texas. We ended up wrecking my car on Sunset Blvd (almost totaled it) after leaving the beach in L.A. We stayed at a friends house for about 30 days until my car got repaired. We had a great time hanging out in LA for a month and his boss ended up holding his job for him.
The rest is history!

John is on night shift right now so he is pretty much going to work, sleeping till 2pm and leaving for work again at 4:30pm. He only works 15 days a month though since he is on 12 hour shifts. Next Friday starts his 7 days off. That is what is nice, each month he has 7days off in a row, then 3 days off. He is off this weekend though.
Oh I agree. It does go fast. I clean and keep my self busy before you know it its time to get my younger son... I have to go to work and my hubby picks up my older son. I cant believe tomorrow is friday....

School seemed like it lasted forever when I was there, but now that I'm the parent and my child goes, it goes by really fast. Strange how that works.
