I have problems with my husbands behaviour

I am married to this guy for about 2 yrs now.I love him to death but, He has a huge problem when he drinks, though he drinks maybe twice a month. He starts drinking, he jst keeps drinking for about 2 days continuosly, and then he starts abusing everyone.. It includes everyone, even some one he met just then.
And then his arrogance continous everyday even when he is not drunk or drinking. he calls himself the most good looking , and that he will make 2million dollars a year in a few months, He asumes there is no one greater than him.
I just dont know how to deal with this problem. It makes my life a living hell sometimes to listen to all this every single day.please help.

It sounds like the drinking is  part of the problem, and will probably get worse,He probably does have low self esteem, but will never admit it, also the aggressive behavior, and his saying that he will make that much money, He may really beleive that, and if he does that is what is called a fixed false idea,and you will mot be able to change that,if he is just saying that to be arrogant he is foolish, but it does sound like he needs some medical help in the form of a therapist or a psychlogist, if he will go for it, if he wont then things will just get worse, also the abuse may get worse, lots of luck  jo

I know this is an older post/thread but wanted to throw my two cents out there either way... unfortunately,  I don't really have very much advice for the poster except this:
First and foremost I do not believe your hubby is a sociopath as someone else abruptly threw out there. ..
He sounds like a typical *******.... I have found that others out there are quick to throw that diagnosis on every jerk, ******* & mean person who has ever did wrong. None of that doesn't make a sociopath. Yes, a sociopath can most definitely be a total ******* but being that ******* doesn't mean sociopath. Not even close.

Dump his *** and then he will know that he's not THAT good looking.  He sounds very immature and insecure.  It's like he has to convince himself that he is wonderful because he probably knows he's not.
