Loosing a loved one including a pet this time of year.

Question

I was thinking about the heart felt feelings over loosing a loved one, including a pet, this time of year and wrote the below hoping  it would bring some relief to the sorrow.

" Lay down my child and rest. Your toil was endless, your love enduring and your kindness gentle.
Know in your heart that wings are by your side and will lift you to that place.

That work will be done as you have laid the path through your faith in all that has been created.
The limits of eternity awaits where you will be forever joined firm with the faces, feelings, scents and sights that you felt were long gone."

Ohhhhh! I am so sorry..My Prays go out for You & Your Family Too!! It seems like my loses are always around this time of Year..Be Strong..Please let me know how things are going..lol

Vic, sorry you are going through a difficult time by the way.  It's painful to lose people we love and pets we love and I know you are dealing with a lot still.

I've been going through a very rough time with the death of both a loved one and our pet.  This poem brings comfort. Thanks again life.

Thank You!! This was so nice to read..I have lost many, many in the past but this time around has been very difficult..Just lost my Dad the Day before Thanksgiving and my Father-in-Law days before my dad..They told me that my Mom might only have 3 months becasue Chemo will not work any more..We will see becasue they are not God..The Vet was just over to check out my Boy Dog who is not doing to good with his balance and such. I am still in early Recovery from my Addiction (over15months)so this is why it has been hard..No running and hiding anymore..I Bless you for this up lift message.

That's really beautiful. I hope it brings comfort to those who are grieving a loved one, whether human or a fur baby. Our pets no doubt are part of our families, and to lose one is VERY VERY hard, it cuts deep.
