The pullout question...

I'm someone with an open mind, and I was wondering how safe it is to not use a condom, nor pullout, but to actually have my boyfriend *** inside me. I'm starting birth control and I wanted to know how much my risks are of getting pregnant. Well, I'm sure they're pretty high, but...I mean, is it okay to try it? Shouldn't the BC stop my pregnancy risks??

thanks!

I agree with most that has been said already.

One other thought.  You do not state your age or your boyfriend's age. Or more importantly, how long you have been together. If you have not been together for a LONG time - then you may not know him as well as you think you do - and not using a condom could get you in toruble with STI's. Be careful. Sometimes, a guy will say anything to get what he wants. Watch out for yourself - it's your body.

you need to have been on the BC pill for at least 2 straight months and following the diretions like not missing days, taking it near the same time everyday etc.  I agree with Rose that you are still in risk of STD's and what you should think of is, "if i did get pregnant could i see myself having a baby with this man."  If you can not then i would still use condoms or at least the pull out method.

Yes,  a birth control pill will stop your pregnancy risks to almost nothing.

You still are at risk for STDs,  though,  so you need to be SURE you're in a monogamous relationship with a clean guy.
