I do blame the media for a lot of this. It is pushed on women constantly about how our bodies should always be in perfect form according to someone else's standards even being pregnant. You aren't even allowed to pregnant without people commenting about "how big you are." For heavens sakes pregnant women aren't going to be small........they are carrying another human being. Unless your physician is concerned about your weight then you shouldn't be worried about it either.
It seems more and more women, young and old, associate their weight with their self-worth. I find that extremely sad and concerning. You are pregnant and the #1 priority now is you being healthy for YOU and the BABY. Now is not the time to be thinking about diets and ways to lose weight. Fat women, thin women, pregnant women, etc........we ALL have worth and should be valued.
"Tonight my husband came home from field mission and was gone for 3 months, I put on a sey outfit for him and nothing.... I don't feel sexy for him and think that he doesn't find it sexy anymore.".................Perhaps it has nothing to do with the weight but the fact you are pregnant and he is afraid of hurting you and/or the baby. Some men view sex with their pregnant partner different then if their partner wasn't pregnant.
I would recommend you talk to him about your concerns and go from there.
If he can't find the beauty in you carrying his child and/or he is only "into you" because of your beauty and/or when you are a certain weight/size then that says loads about him. Don't get me wrong, I like looking my best for myself and my husband, however, that isn't all I have to offer.
Your worth is MORE than a dress size or a weight or a shape.
Thank you ladies, it's good to know I'm not the only one who's felt like this. I know getting pregnant was a blessing and I'm gonna do my best to get back into shape after she is here
Before i got preggers i was loosing wieght working out and i kept doing that throughout my pregnancy there have been days when i just feel so unpretty and look at myself thinking that im doing this for nothing but i will be working harder then before once my little man comes. My husband tells me all the time how beautiful i am and i just dont see it and he gets frustrated with me because i tell him that i dont feel the way he sees me... just keep active and eat healthy for you and baby! I just keep telling myself this will be over soon and then i can look the way i want to... not like a hippo all the time

I was feeling the same way. I was working out to lose weight , I've seen progress. Then all of a sudden I'm pregnant. I've know when the baby grow , your gonna get bigger. So after my baby come I'm working out harder then ever.
