I AM A YOUNG MOTHER OF 2 GIRLS. WHEN I WAS 15 I WENT OUT WITH MY FIRST BOYFRIEND FOR THREE YEARS. AFTER A TON OF FIGHTING I DECIDED TO CHEAT ON HIM AND I ENDED UP GETTING PREGNANT.  I MOVED ON AND MET MY FIANCE. I HAVE KNOWN HIM SINCE I WAS 14, WE ALWAYS HAD A THING FOR EACHOTHER. WELL NOW 8 YEARS AFTER BEING WITH MY FIRST BOYFRIEND, I STILL THINK OF HIM AND CALL HIM EVERY ONCE AND A WHILE. I HAVENT BEEN WITH HIM SINCE 3 YEARS AGO AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE OTHER DAY I STARTED THINKING ABOUT HIM (AGAIN). I HAVE TOLD MY FIANCE THIS BECAUSE I LOVE MY FIANCE WITH ALL OF MY HEART AND I COULDNT STAND FOR HIM TO THINK THAT HE WAS SECOND BEST. WE ARE GETTING MARRIED IN 6 MONTHS AND HE IS VERY MAD AT THE FACT THAT I DID NOT TELL HIM HOW I FELT ABOUT MY EX 2 YEARS AGO. HE AND I ARE VERY CONFUSSED. I HAVE TO MOVE ON FROM MY RELATIONSHIP FROM 8  YEARS AGO AND I DONT KNOW HOW BECAUSE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE CONNECTION IS THAT I HAVE. 3 YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS WITH MY EX I KNEW THAT THERE WAS NOTHIN GLEFT FOR US. HE DID NOT WANT TO BE WITH ME BECAUSE I HAD A BABY. WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH ALL OF THAT AND AT THAT TIME I FELT LIKE I HAD CLOSED THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN US.... MY EX IS NOT ANYTHING THAT SPECIAL AND HE IS VERY STUBBORN. MY FIANCE AND I HAVE A 7 MONTH OLD AND MY FIANCE IS VERY SPECIAL TO ME....

I totally agree with the last comment.  It sounds like your ex is a closed, past, event.  Even if you think of him from time to time, keep it to yourself.  Tell your fiance that you DO love him, have no emotional attachment with your ex, and that you shouldn't have even mentioned him.  TELL him that you love him with all of your heart and that he ISN'T second in your life!

Its normal if your ex crosses your mind from here to eternity.  But unless you want your ex or something, you need to embrace now and look towards a future with your fiance.  Its not necessary that you tell your fiance that you think about your ex or any other man for that matter.  Keep your thoughts and memories to yourself.  Im suggesting that if your last statement is truly how you feel-
"MY EX IS NOT ANYTHING THAT SPECIAL AND HE IS VERY STUBBORN. MY FIANCE AND I HAVE A 7 MONTH OLD AND MY FIANCE IS VERY SPECIAL TO ME...."
go with that and stick to it.
