Back pain, trouble breathing

by hawk2416, Jul 12, 2009 02:22AM
Hi there,

For the past few months, I have been experiencing some trouble breathing. It constantly feels as if there is a pressure on my chest, and although my breathing output can be very good, it still feels like I am not getting enough air. I am certain that I am indeed getting enough air in, as I can fill my lungs fully and not feel like I am not getting a deep breath.  However, breathing normally results in me feeling like my lungs are always empty, even though they are not. I also constantly have a rapid heart rate, and I am constantly burping. This excess gas leads me to feel like it is a intestinal problem. I also have experienced sharp pains in my back, as well as general back soreness. All of these symptoms have been with me for the past two or so months. I generally have always felt "tired", like I never get enough sleep, however through these past few months it seems worse. I generally have no energy to do anything, and I sleep in often. After experiencing a panic attack and a trip to the doctor I was given a five-pill prescription of azithromycin, as well as a puffer. Using the puffer seems to temporarily relieve my breathing problems. Today, I experienced blackish green stools and I instantly panicked as I realized this could be blood. I have heard, however, that this color of stool can be caused by various foods, and bismuth (which I have taken to relieve my excess gas). I have not been very regular with my excreting schedule lately, and the past two or so days have left me with a sharp pain in the rectum after excreting. I am not certain if this is related to my chest pains or not. The only other symptom I can think of is a very itchy penis for the past week, followed by the skin of my penis head peeling a little. These symptoms have mostly gone away, but now there is sometimes a white residue randomly appearing on my penis head.

I am a fifteen-year old male, and I am 6 feet tall, 140 lbs.

the burping, chest pressure and back pain all point to stomach problems (acid reflux or gastritis). This can also affect breathing and absorbtion of nutrients leading to the run down feeling you have, altough that can be simply because you are in your teenage years and your body goes though stressing changes.
