Perihilar markings

i had x rays done of my chest a month ago, and yesterday I went for the results and the doctor told me that i have prominent right perihilar markings. What does this mean?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The perihilar markings are just the normal lines that are seen in chest x rays, but increased either due to infection or inflammation. These markings do not mean anything specific if you are asymptomatic (no symptoms) right now.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
