I agree that you really need to see your doctor. Write a list of questions to ask your doctor, so you won't forget, when you see him or her.
Here are some questions you might want to ask (among others):
1) Some antibiotics can cause nerve damage (as a bad side effect), resulting in pins & needles, numbness, etc. For example, Cipro can cause "peripheral neuropathy". What possible side effects did the antibiotic you took have?
2) Ask about seeing a very good Neurologist, to check on your neurological symptoms.
3) Ask about seeing a good ENT (ear, nose & throat doc) about possible sinus problems, possible ear infection, etc.
4) Ask about your fear of a stroke, and how you could get tested to "rule out" this possibility. (Birth Control Pills can increase the risk of stroke, so it's good you're off these!)
5) Some infections can lead to gastric reflux, which can cause sore throat, among other things.
6) Taking antibiotics, can often lead to imbalances of the bacteria in one's large intestine (antibiotics kill off the good bacteria, as well as bad ones), and can also cause yeast infections (Candida albicans)--anywhere in the digestive system, including in the throat (called "Thrush"). Beneficial edible bacteria called PROBIOTICS (like ACIDOPHILUS & BIFIDUS) need to be re-supplied, and these can help to normalize the digestion, and get rid of yeast infections.
Some headaches are due to sinus problems, and indigestion can also cause headaches. There can be more than one cause. But stroke can also cause a headache, so you should see your doc, to be sure of what's going on!
My husband and I have used some holistic methods with good results, to treat our sinus problems. AFTER YOU SEE THE DOCTOR, if you'd like to compare notes about sinus problems, you can email me at ***@****
We were both greatly helped by National Jewish Hospital (NJH), where they diagnosed us with VCD several years ago. (VCD=Vocal Cord Dysfunction). If you are anywhere near Denver, Colorado, consider going to NJH, for an evaluation.
Good luck to you.
Sincerely, Concerned lady
It is very difficult from your symptoms to tell what is going on. There are so many possible things that could be causing the symptoms you are describing. I would suggest seeing your family doctor, who knows you the best, to get a complete evaluation of what you are experiencing.
