Spirometry Results and COPD

by vancouverasking, Oct 01, 2009 11:10PM
Hello;
I am hoping that you may able to provide some information/interpretation regarding relatively normal spirometry results and lower than normal FEF 25-75% results.  I am a 47 years old, smoked for 12 pack years, and quit smoking 15 years ago.  Am I on the road to developing COPD?

FVC - 115%
FEV1 - 98%
FEV1/FVC - 84% (will this decrease over time?)
FEF25-75% - 56%
PEF - 125

Lung Volumes
VC - 120%
TLC - 110%
FRC PL - 103%
RV - 97%
RV/TLC -30

Diffusion
DLCO - 95%
DLCO/VA - 85%

Thanks so much for your help!

Sarah
