breathing problems from different things

hi

I have always had this problem and it seems worse these days, i get breathing problems from alot of things, for example, dust, some perfumes , foods specially oils, air freshners, i had breathing problems when i took a suppliment milk thistle.

I get it from alot of things, whether im walking outside, or indoors, i start getting them, even when im about to have a cold. i have tried asthma inhalers and they do not work, only somtimes maybe 10% of the time they will help, I can get through it most times, like today, i thought id try a body spray when i put it on, i couldnt breath i was gasping for air, i changed, washed, and stood outside for 40min till i felt i could breath better again.

I dont know whats wrong with me? how shall i get this tested? am i allergic to all these things? how do i even find out what im allergic too? i remember i was in a class once and it started there i couldnt breath and for a whole hour i suffered till i came out the room. I have been living with it just worried i may come across somthing i may not be able to avoid and it could be very dangerous for me?

the last thing i want to mention is, last year in summer i woke up with breathing problems, like panic attacks, but i would have them much severe in different parts of the day, for weeks i suffered form this, gasping for air, drs would say its panic attack, i was also sent to  get a chest xrayw hich was fine, the dr couldnt figure out what it was, i slowly got better, so im suspicious that it may have been an allergy to somthing that i may have been around for weeks to months.

can anyone shed some light on this for me, i really need some help.

thank you

tony

If you feel the air going into the lungs, you are doing fine. The feeling in the nose will return gradually, as you have not used it. Do not stop the pranayam, as it will you for rest of life.

hi

just messaging  again, thanks again for your reply, interesting enough, i tried the breathing and i find it far to hard to breath form my nose, i have got a history of a broken nose, which also was bleeding so they did an operation to bur n a vein within the nose so it wont bleed any more, this was when i was a kid,

its interesting you mention this, i can breath ait through both nostrils wbut even though i try and air does go in, i feel it isnt, maybe im not used to breathing through my nose?

i believe this exercise will benefit me alot and i will tryu exactly what you have mentioned as somtimes i do find i get a dry throat making my condition worse.

thanks again

This pranayam will get extra oxygen into your lungs, and help with your breathing and allergy problems. Do it for 15 minutes, twice a day and the allergy will be gone in 12 to 20 weeks.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom pranayam –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.
