grey specks in sputum

by Jimmie66, Mar 03, 2008 09:25AM
For the past 3 or so, I have been coughing up greying specks in my sputum.I quicks smoking about 3 years or so. I do have asthma. I live on the Gulf coast of Mississippi and I may have had this problem before Katrina hit my area if I remember right. I do have slight chest discomfort. I have had a breathing  test done and past with flying colors. I however, do not take my inhaler near as much as I should. What do you think this may be? I only get concern when my chest  cause slight discomfort. Thanks.
