My brother in-law has been very ill for a number of years. He is now at the point where he has difficulty breathing and is producing a massive amount of mucus. He is in Boston and has seen every specialist in the vacinity, been to the Mayo Clinic and now trying to get into a hosptial in Denver that specializes in lungs. He has two stents in but is terrified that they will come out and his airway will be blocked. He is at the point (taking massive amount of meds) of looking into foods that may cause excess mucus production, he can't stop coughing. Do you have a suggestion? Could an allergy to wheat cause the mucus production?
