i didn't even realise my 23 year old son had been smoking quite heavily, but he gave up several weeks ago. he started when he was 16. he keeps getting a pain in his right lung but has not been coughing. he saw our gp today but was told it was muscle strain. i have been reading on this forum about the after effects of giving up smoking.,should he buy some medicine to help him to cough? he is rather anti doctors and i think it is beginning to get him down as he has other health problems and it would be great to help sort this one out many thanks
