Thank you to all who took the time to come to our first SPOAK meeting. We introduced our coordinating team as well as our doctor affiliate Dr. Jennifer Sherman, Allergist. Parents shared areas of concern and discussed what "hot topics" they would like to see addressed. Among the topics were:
-Managing allergies in school (guest speakers such as nurses from school)
-SPOAK Kids Club (children meeting on a rotating basis at our meetings with a planned agenda)
-Behavorial Issues that effect both the parents and the children
-Nutritionist to attend our meeting to do an open Q & A
Please help us to spread the word along. You can register for emails at our yahoo group "SPOAK" or you can go directly to this link and register to read all of our postings http://spoak.medhelp.org/
Looking forward to seeing you at our April meeting. We will post the date as soon as it is approved.
