27 year old with resistant chlamydia..no sex...just desperate

I have been living with chilamydia for over a year now. I was treated for more than 8 times. It was very painful in the early dies. At one point i thought i would die. I went to a school clinic where they told me it was sti but did not know what type since it didnt show much signs. There was nothing coming out of my penis except that it looked cracked, dry, whitish, sticky and had a small sought of cracked skin(wound like for abt two days). They gave me antibiotics for a week and asked to bring my Girlfriend which i did. We decided not to have sexy since we all didnt know where it had came from. She never got sick but i got worse. I started feeling tired, drained and funny feeling in my eyes. I started to stress alot and my stomack got bloated mostly. I went to a doctor who told me my penis was fine and treated me for reccuring sti. Pain went for about two days after finishing a course if different types of antibiotics.

I used to be interested in names but not anymore. Pain got worse and worse, and it went into my testicles, in my lower abdomen and stressed even more. I felt so thirst that i drank water even more than 8 leters on a normal day. I went back to the doctor and he adviced me not to stress. He gave me a light injection which was not painful and more antibiotics. The pain left me for a week and it got worse. I went to the same segaery but a different doctor who gave me a cocktail of antibiotics and refered me to a urologist. Those antibiotics worked for about a month then pain came back. I felt tired, exhausted, pain in my lower abdomen. My testicles were so painful. I felt at times as if someone squeezed my testicles. I went to a public clinic were i was ordered for a second HIV test which still came negative. I was treated for sti again. I was given antibiotics and a big painful injection. That did not change anything. I felt worse and worse. I cloud feel pain in my chest, bloated stomach, testicle pains, lower abdominal pains and my head gave me funny feelings. I thought i would die.

I went to a urologist who looked at my penis and thought everything was ok. He did urine test and all were clear. He adviced me not to stresz and said the problem was now unfortunately psycological caused by fear from constantly looking at my cracky shinny penis. I debated that till he ordered me for a blood test which i gladly went to. I was clear of everything except chilamydia. He prescribed me antibiotics and i took them. I did not feel much better but just better than before. I started exercising and focusing more on other things. Three months later now i start feeling the the same. I knew all along it was still there. I ate alot of garlic as adviced on the internet. I am tired of garlic and i waited for my body to heal self but i am not sure anymore. Any help any one can suggest?

Thank you for this information its much appreciated. I am tired of this so i guess its another visit to my urologist. The one thing i dont like is for him to laugh at me and say i am just stressing. He probably will do the same routine, test HIV, check my penis, urine test and antibiotics or injection the say i should continue with my life off stress.

I value you advice thank you

The chlamydia blood tests are useless.  Once positive, it's positive for life; and non-STD chlamydia-like bacteria also cause positive results.

There are plenty of people on the internet who attribute unexplained symptoms to many things, whether chlamydia, HIV, chronic fatigue, Lyme disease, "systemic candidiasis" and a hundred others.  Their testimony is the least reliable of all possible evidence of actual cause.  I recommend you not search the internet any further about chlamydia and your symptoms.  You will only find irrelevant information that doesn't help.

And despite your being "100 percent sure" your symptoms don't have a mental health or psychological origin, that in fact is probably the best explanation.  You own it to yourself to check it out.  If you are corrert, a counseling will confirm you need to continue to look for a physical illness to explain the symptoms and nothing.  So you have nothing to lose to see a professional counselor to check it out.

Anyway, whatever is going on, it has absolutely nothing to do with chlamydia or any other STD.  Believe it, suck it up, and move on.

Blood test is not accurate way to diagnosis chlamydia, you need a urine test or swab test.

As i said after the 6th time visiting the urologist i was taken for blood test which revealed that i had chlamydia. I was given doxy but as i expected it did nothing much. I promise you that it is still the same thing. I read on the internet about other people who has the same stubborn condition. I also read about new discoveries where this bacteria is getting resistant.

I am 100 percent sure that i am not paranoid and i havent been stressing about it for about 3 months yet its coming back. I also feel uncomfortable in my panties now. My penis itches and testicle have mild pain now. My eyes itch and i feel tired mostly at night.

I'll add that there is no such thing as antibiotic-resistant chlamydia.  It doesn't happen.

Sorry, but this is much too complex a story to expect clear answers on a non-professional public forum.  I'll just say that your ongoing symptoms are not typical for any STD -- and if chlamydia or any other STD had been responsibile, the symptoms would have cleared up with the antibiotics you had.  Chlamydia for sure doens't cause symptoms like yours -- and even without treatment, chlamyda in men clears up long before a year.

Continue to work with your doctor, but you can safely put aside concerns about chlamydia and all other STDs.  Much of what you describe sounds like the physical manifestations of anxiety, stress, depresssion. or other psychological problem.
