Cold sore

Ive always gotten cold sores on my lips before and I think I just had cold sores on my nose. I went down on my parter and he also went down on me. Now I am worried that it could have spread. My nose didnt touch him or me, but we did kiss. If so when would it show, and does it always return on your genitals once it gets down there. If its HSV 1 does it always come back down below? I am so worried....please help!

If he has genital type 1, there is only a 50% chance that he would ever have another outbreak.

If he does get another ob, then they are infrequent and milder than if he had hsv2, typically.

I'm kind of confused by your question, but I will just give you some info on hsv1.

If you have it on your face, you can be infectious from your mouth even if the outbreak is on your nose.

Do you know if your bf has hsv1?  If he does, the chances of him getting it genitally are very slim, since he already has antibodies to protect him.

Typically, symptoms show up in about 2-20 days.  It would be a good idea for your bf to test to find out if he has it, so you can stop worrying.  I would still avoid any oral to genital contact when you have any symptoms, as that's when you are most infectious.

Do you get outbreaks often?  If you do, you should consider suppression.
