Itching anus

Since December I have been having an itchy anus and tingling sensations all over my body. I am also feeling fatigued. I was wondering if this is because of herpes or not. I don't have any sores or redness just itchiness. When the tingling goes away itchiness comes on my scrotum to anus area. Then the itchiness goes away and then I have the sharp tingling all over my hands back and feet. I was wondering what can cause this.

Yeah Ik it's weird that I ask that but when you look up information online. They tell you a bunch of stuff that gets you worried. It's Iike my fingers and legs and arms are tingling but don't get numb then if that stops it turns to itching in the anus and scrotum. I don't know how thts connected. I do have anxiety issues but thanks for reassuring me that it is not herpes.

Herpes doesn't behave at all like this. Anal itching (medical name pruritus ani, which is just Latin for the same thing) is one of the most common of all symptoms; every living person has it at one time or another, some quite often. As for "tingling" and fatigue, these also aren't related to herpes, except that localized tingling can occur for a day or two before a herpes outbreak.

"What can cause [all] this"? Any number of systemic medical problems, but the most common causes probably are psychological -- depression, anxiety, etc. In any case, neither herpes nor any other STD is a likely explanation.

So my advice is to see your personal physician if the symptoms continue, and then take it from there. Good luck!
