What is buccilus vaginalis and what causes it

I believe what you are referring too ( think you spelled it wrong ) is an overgrowth of the naturally occurring, protective lactobacillus in the vagina. it causes a discharge and itching but isn't infectious.  

does this sound like what you were told by your provider?

Gardnerella vaginalis has been reported as part of the normal flora in the vagina. However, it is one of the main causes of bacterial vaginosis.
