tiny red dots on tip area tongue std or papillae

hi there,
I have been sexually active with a guy, i have given breif oral and had safe sex, one day after the oral i have noticed little red dots on my tongue at the tip area and a little over the other part of my tongue, i also had spicy food that was really hot the day after which is when i noticed this since then my tounge has been painfull when i eat.. its now 4 days later and its still sore the dots are pin head size but really quite red, no puss or any blisters though could this be an std or simple fungiform papillae, i have never noticed before....

I'd guess its the spicy food.  No std would present with these symptoms.  If it persists, see your doctor.
