What could this be?

A couple months ago, I noticed a small lump on the side of the perineum, more like in the bottom of my butt cheek but very close to my anus its hard to explain. So I just ignored it, I had shaved down there and I thought it was an ingrown hair. I kept feeling it though, everytime i  showered I could feel the small bump, it doesnt look like anything unless i tough it, thats the only way i noticed it, its not protruding it was more like inside of the skin. Of course I checked online on every possible thing it could be. It does not look like a genital wart, or herpes or any other std that i can think of. So about two days ago, I noticed its a lump and its alot bigger than it was. I seems like an ingrown hair but im not sure it kind of hurts now, it doesnt have a white haid or anything. I will go see a dr as soon as I can get an appointment. I need help what could this possibly be??????? Someone please let me know!!!!!!!

It could be a lot of things no one here could possibly diagnose you over the web.  See a doctor if you are concernd but I think it is not an STD this would be a strange place for it to appear.  Good luck all the best.

It could be an infected hair follicle, and you should get it checked out.  If its lingered this long, you might need an antibiotic to get rid of it.
