Condom - inside out

Hi,
Recently I got fairly drunk and slept with a friend, I do not know his sexual history. We used a condom, however I managed to put the condom on the wrong way round, at the time I thought nothing of it and just turned it over to the otherside. However it has now been 5 days since the occurence and I am experiencing some lower back pain and yesterday I did have some symptoms which to me seemed like cystitis. I feel extremely run down & have photophobia (light sensitivity in my eyes).
I have been doing a little bit of research on STIs & am worried I may have contracted chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphillis or possible other STIs. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, but I would just like to find out if I am highly at risk of getting anything & if the symptoms I have experienced lead to any specific STIs.
My mother thinks I just have a water infection but she doesnt know about the condom flipping situation.
I would really appreciate a reply.

Thanks

Hepatitis isn't a risk here.  You'd have to have a lot more exposure than just a bit of pre-seminal fluid to get hep, and you probably wouldn't have symptoms nearly this fast.

It might be real, and it could just be the flu or something.  Don't get too worried about this - the chances of anything are really very slim.

Hi Aj,

I have also been reading up on the 3 strains of hepatitis. I do have some of the symptoms of any of those 3 - mild flu-like symptoms, loss of appetite and abdominal pain.

I cant work out if there is actually something seriously wrong with me, or if I'm just getting overly worked up about this.

Thanks for replying

It is possible that flipping the condom over could have exposed you to something, but in reality, its not terribly likely.

Since you are having symptoms, its good you are being tested.

Are you completely sure? I have read a few website that say that pain when peeing and abdominal or back pain can be indicators of chlamydia. And that symptoms can occur as early as 5days after sex.
I would ask him, but since that night things have been a little awkward between us & we haven't known eachother long. I will see what the doctor says tomorrow and then decide if I should talk to him. Of course if I discovered that I did actually have something I would have a talk with him about it.

Your symptoms have nothing to do with an STD.
Also if the person is a friend why not talk with him?
