Do I have an STD???

I had unprotected sex about three weeks ago and this morning I woke up and have a sore throat.... I have no other signs but I am still worried....I may be paranoid but was just wondering......    

I read up on a few STD's that cause this to happen, please Help!!!!!

If you are infected genitally, you will only get symptoms genitally.  If you are infected orally, same thing. But again...getting an std from giving oral sex is very very very rare. Std's do not like the mouth.  It is a hostile environment due to the constant airflow disrupting the warm moist climates they love.  It is doubtful your sore throat is a symptom of an std.

Well, if you had unprotected sex, you would be more likely to be having symptoms of an std in the genital area. Even if you had unprotected oral sex, it is not that common at all to get an std via oral sex.  If you did not have oral sex, then the sore throat is not at all associated with an std.

unprotected sex puts you at risk, but you're being paranoid at this point.

only testing can tell you for sure.
