False Positive Herpes Test?

Hello---
I was just told that I have been tested positive for Herpes by a blood test showing that my results stated 0.97, in which the considered nor mal range is 0- 0.9...Well the fact that I am .07 over what is normal, is there a possibility that this antibody count can be due to something else? I take 2000 mg of Garlic on a daily basis as well as Echinea and a full dietary supplement of Women's Vitamins. I have contacted pass partner's and they have tested negative.I suppose my current love could have pulled a fast one on me... but what are the chances of this test being reliable. The Med. Assistant didn't really give too many details, she is just ready to set me up with a consultation for treatment, despite me asking for a re-test. I also had to remind her who I was and the whole situation and unanswered questions that I had for her from the previous day, so I feel like a number right about now as the other writer stated. i may go back to my old OB/GYN, yet I will have to make an 800 mi trip... but it just may be worth it! What are the details on this test based on the results I was given?

Absolutely.

No need to start treatment yet.  I'd insist on a re-test.

.97 should be re-tested as it's simply equivocal :)
