Intense Vaginal Itching

I have had intense vaginal itching for a couple of weeks now. I went to my gyno and she said I definitely had a yeast infection and gave me 2 Diflucan. I've taken both, and I STILL have this intense itch. It doesn't last all day, but comes in bouts and it's driving me crazy! There's no odor, and I'm guessing some slight discharge, but I'm not understanding why the Diflucan wouldn't help.

There's some resistance now to diflucan.  You can try Pinky's suggestion or ask your doc for a script for terconazole.

i would try monistat......i use the one time ovule kit that comes with the outside cream.
the outside cream always stops the itching immediatly with me and takes a couple of days to completely clear up..
best of luck
