Itchy anus, Not an std what is it?

I was tested for STDs and it came back negative but my anus is really itchy and it has a small bump almost like a skin tag, does not look like a wart.  What is it and how can I take care of it.  Almost like a constant rash, maybe from my thongs?

bottom line is you need to be seen and get this looked at. we'd totally be guessing as to what is going on and nothing replaces a proper medical exam. no one likes showing their bum to a stranger but trust me, we see tons of them every single day and think nothing of it.

I'm having the same problem. I'm a male who is not gay. Went to the doctor for inspection, and he said there is a tear in the anus that is causing it. was prescribe meds, it didn't help.

OH and one more thing, I'm female not male.  I just noticed that my profile states that I am male.  Could this be from wearing thongs, or sweating to much, wiping to hard?

It's actually on the perineum.

Hi and welcome. If its right at the rectum opening it may well be a hemorrhoid. These can get very itchy as there is usually a small cut and gets irritated from feces.
