Molluscum Contagiosum Treatment

For the last 3 months I have had around 40 little indented pink bumps in my groin area but not on my genitals. At first I thought they were razor bumps but now I'm convinced they are Molluscum Contagiosum. They look exactly like all the pictures online so I made an appointment with my dermatologist in a couple weeks. Anyways, these thing are pretty unsightly and I really want to get rid of them as soon as possible and avoid having the embarrassment of getting 40 bumps frozen off that area by some doctor. Does anyone here have any success stories with home treatments? I heard something about vinegar and baking soda but I'm not sure how that works. Thanks.

It can last for months WITH treatment.  Its a virus, and it just has to run its course.

I'm sure its killing your sex life, but that's really ok as its very infectious, and you shouldn't be having sex when you have symptoms.

Check for an std clinic near you that might have evening hours.

And check www.ashastd.org for more info on MCV.

Well I am pretty sure thats what it is. I already went to my GP and she agreed with me that it was most likely MC and told me to go to a Dermo.   The problem is I work eight to five monday through friday so that doesn;t leave much time for doctor visits. I managed to get some time off 10 days from now for the doc but Iwas just curious to know if there are any home remedies out there that could start clearing this up soon. Its killing my sex life and I've heard stories about how this can persist for months even with proper treatment.

I haven't heard that one, but I certainly wouldn't expect it to work.  Why not just go to an std clinic, get them properly diagnosed, and they can freeze them off there.
